Google Buys Nest Labs

Although a bizarre acquisition, Google recently bought Nest Labs. This company creates self-learning and programmable thermostats and smoke detectors for ease of life.

The creator of the original iPod, Tony Fadell created this company in 2010 and it quickly grew to a point in which it caught Google's attention. The products it manufactured contained quality hardware and smart thinking for the everyday user.

On January 13, 2014, Google purchased the legal name and brand for a pricey $3.2 Million. The Newly-Added company will suffer a lot of changes in its system and style, with the purpose of encouraging the "House of the Future". The multi-billionaire company acknowledges its lack of time and will permit Nest to independently produce their technology under Google's name.
