In 2013, Windows announced no more updates for Windows XP, forcing the newer models to users.

Programmers were looking for ways in which one could effectively continue to work under the same desktop. The result was a new OS, the Zorin OS. The OS, developed by Ubuntu, is XP based and is a cheap alternative (with updates) to keep you in touch with the latest available. The Operative System has three variants:
  • Core: Usual OS, ready for installation and use.
  • Educative: OS designed specifically for educating.
  • Ultimate: The most complete, most useful variant, with many applications and personalizing options.
Usually for OS downloads there is no required fee, however, to download Ultimate, you need to pay a $10 fee in order to improve the product and help in its better development. Any or all updates are free. Ultimate can run only on specific devices, that is, Windows only.
